So Jealous

I have sat around today doing a lot of nothing. Looking at online jobs that I won't hear back from, and other such things.

This includes refreshing my Facebook homepage far too often.

The most recent refresh contained this, from Blogger Jack of Hearts:

"Just met Robert Pattinson, he's in The Macbeth, on Hoxton St, RIGHT NOW, and he refused a photo! Haha. He has a beard and a wooly hat and ugly friends. X"

Now, I really don't care about the unflattering description; sitting here so upset that it is not I at The MacBeth :(. Ahhhhh.

Ok, that is all.

While I'm at it...

Who has info to give me about New York? I've been gathering loads of information about the best way to make the move: where to live, how to find where to live, who to live with, how to find work, where to look for jobs, etc.

Anything anyone has to say I would like to hear! A few people have made a move to NY seem quite daunting, but with an American passport, it won't be the same as a Torontonian trying to make a go of it and find sponsorship to stay.

I should find some interesting topic to make a blog about, with photos. You know, be a fun blog. Ha, we'll see. I have a lot of things I could rant about at the moment, but I've talked myself out the last while and can't bring myself to bring up all the emotion it takes to go through an issue point by point in print! Perhaps in the near future.

Ho Hum

Oct 25 was the last one on here eh?

Well, I stayed in the Peg for 3.5 months. Wrote for the Free Press and the local J rag, but have driven home and am ready for the next adventure.

Getting my American passport and planning on heading east once the weather warms up a bit. Done with Canada.

Still doing the freelance game but really tired of it and would take a job not in my field over constantly living pitch to pitch and scraping by for the bills.

I've been trying to write a book, but after doing a couple of book reviews on stupid chicklit novels, I can't get anywhere. The usual lame point of view of a female deters me. I don't want to produce the same kind of garbage... So I sit around hoping for the "big inspiration;" that something that will make my female perspective unique and interesting.
